I am from Colorado transplanted in Washington, looking for some folks to train and climb with in this beautiful state. Even suggestions on good climbs would be appreciated

You might try contacting 'Aubrey', a long-time member who moved to WA a few years ago. He's done several TR's in the Cascades as well.

Hi,

Fellow CO-to-WA transplant here! There's an abundance of climbs for whatever skill level you're at or climbing style you prefer. Obviously there's the Cascade Volcanoes, and then there's plenty of hikes/scrambles/climbs in the North Cascades and Stuart Range.
The books I would recommend getting are Fred Beckey's "Cascade Alpine Guide" (it's three volumes, the brown and green ones have the peaks in central Washington) or the Falcon Guidebook "Climbing Washington's Mountains."

Also, I'm looking for partners for a few trips this summer, the main things on my list are Shuksan, Stuart, Adams, and Eldorado, so let me know if you're interested in any of those. Probably wouldn't mind doing Baker again either (depending on the route).

Good luck!
