This is an interesting public talk from this week in Jackson, if you're into ski mountaineering history. An hour of Bill Briggs describing his 1971 first descent of the Grand, then an hour with Christian Beckwith talking about the history of Grand descents, followed by a slide show of his descent of Briggs' route on the 40th anniversary last summer (with a raffle and some inserted commercials for local guiding stuff, which is skippable). Pretty cool stuff.
