Sleeping on the Summits II: The SEQUEL

Postby Dr_Jon » Sun May 19, 2013 3:33 pm

Hello Everyone, I'M BACK!

Not Sure if anyone is interested, but here is a link to a recent start to my Sequel from the Colorado 14ers called Sleeping on the Summits II: You may have remembered Sleeping on the Summits I from the Colorado peaks!

I kicked things off with a bang and slept up on Mt. Whitney a few days ago. Here is the link to the Blog:

But one is called "The Sequel", or I mean, SEQUEL and the other is "CA 14ers and Cascade Volcanoes." It's important to get the word out. Bill, you need some sleeping smilies to help the cause.

Darin,

You forgot to include sleeping on all the 14ers as a list being pursued. Which gets me to wondering, has anybody adopted this list? After Davenport and Dawson's books (and perhaps this website with TR's), it seems like skiing the 14ers is alive and well in popularity. Thus, I wonder if sleeping on the summit has gained any popularity or if anybody has been inspired by Dr. Jon to adopt this list.

Is anybody out there trying to sleep on all the summits?

Bill and others,

I apologize for the duplicate post.... That wasn't my intention. As you can tell by my profile I don't spend much time in your excellent site. I just figured some folks might want to follow an interesting project like they did last year when John prater (homie) tried to break the 14ers speed record.

Have a great day and enjoy the adventure.

Jon
