I use to run around barefooted all the time. When I was a kid I ran in a summer track program and ran without shoes. The only time I wore shoes was when I went to town. Up until about 10 years I ran around barefooted. I even went hunting without shoes since it was much quieter. My point being, people would see me walking on surfaces that would make your feet hurt just looking at it and say "Man, your feet rock". I guess it's about the same as me calling a guy riding his mtn. bike up the worsts parts of Transfer Trail a beast. For me the name stuck and I have used it ever since. Yes it's weird, but I like it.
