Finisher on the Bells: CCU_Jim!

Postby scottfarish » Mon Sep 24, 2012 7:16 am

It appears that one of our own, CCU_Jim completed his peak list in grand style on the Bells traverse last Wednesday (9/18). Great job, Jim! I hope to be able to meet up with you for a climb in the future.

Congrats!

After doing South Maroon only on Friday...I have a newfound respect for anyone who does the Bells Traverse, let alone end on it! Major thumbs up! =D>

Thanks everyone! It was a very long, but incredible way to finish. A major thanks shout-out to leggaj5, who re-arranged his schedule to help me climb Snowmass on the 15th in order to be able to finish on the traverse. I had never met him before, but a quote from one of our PMs sums it up: "It sounds like it would be awesome to be able to stick to your finishing plans, so if I can help out in any way then I'm down." Very humbling to me to see what kind of effort a complete stranger would make to help me out. I think that perfectly exemplifies how great a community there is on this site. There's an amazing amount of information here, but the people are what makes the site so incredible.
