John,

It was an honor to be alongside you on your finisher 14er. I have really enjoyed getting to know you and it's been a real pleasure to have climbed many a peak with you. Like others have said, you have such a humble and gracious spirit and you are a joy to be around.

As it turns out, finishing off 10 pounds of KFC fried chicken proved to be the crux of the day!

Climb on my friend. You've got many peaks left in you!

Oh.. this started a while back with Gueza's finisher on South Maroon. He started it. We also had KFC on my finisher and Paul Perea's finisher on Evans. John was on these climbs as well, so he needed to be honored with some summit chicken. Yum!!!

Gluten-free, camera codpiece, stolen jackets, and John getting groped by beautiful young women. A 14er finisher to remember! Thanks for having me along.

John, you are a sensitive and kind man. Thanks for being a friend.
