fepic1 14er FINISHER

Postby Johnson » Sun Sep 23, 2012 7:20 am

Ten of us had the pleasure of climbing with John Froshaug on his 58th 14er yesterday. He finished on Longs Peak via the Loft with a side trip to SE Longs. Congratulations John! \:D/ You are a great guy and a great guy to climb with. I'm sure others with more time with you will be able to expand on some of your finer qualities but for now I just want to say that it was cool that we actually stood on a summit together! :)

Here's a picture of John celebrating with fried chicken and sparkling cider.

Congratulations! It seems to be a big year for this.
I have been to the mountaintop, and I have seen the force
and the power that animates the universe. That may not
match up with your anthropomorphic or teleological idea of
what "god" is, but it's good enough for me.

John,

Way to go! You are such an inspiration to me. I've never had the pleasure to climb mountains with another who has your sincere humility, constantly positive attitude and humor, level head, and will to reach the summit.

Now that you've got nothing to do but 13ers, hopefully we'll get out more often!

Congratulations John!

Great day, great mountain, great people, great chicken, great celebration in support of your accomplishment... this is why I moved to Colorado.

Great to hear you finished! (We climbed Castle & Conundrum together last year). Sounds like it was a great day!
