Wow, thanks all of you for the nice comments! It was a real pleasure climbing with Sunny, Fishdude, Jim, and of course, one of my best friends that took me up my first 14er all those years ago, Wyatt. After being weathered off and smokeed off (wildfires) this climb 3 times, gaining the summit was sweet indeed! Took me a while to clean this list, between beckoning 13ers, ice climbing, rock climbing, and trying to maintain a semblance of a social life, but it was a savory ending a long time coming, nonetheless. Huge thanks to another of my best friends and climbing partners, Steve (altitude14er), who repeated a few so I wouldn't be up there solo, and has shared countless 14er, 13er, 12, etc summits with me!

I've met a lot of really fantastic people along the way from this website, and through these meetings have created long lasting memories along some fantastic routes!

Really glad to have met those of you that I have, and hope to meet more of you fine people on many more mountains!

Big thanks to Bill Middlebrook for creating such an AWESOME and ACCURATE resource for climbing enthusiasts!

Wineguy - Nice to hear from you, I think about our conversations on Culebra regarding quantum physics, etc. often! Let me know when you come back to Colorado, maybe we can meet up for another climb.

Thanks again for the kind words everyone, see you on the trails (or in the pub! )
. . .Now, after the hours of torment . . . I have nothing more to do than breathe . . .I am nothing more than a single, narrow, gasping lung, floating over the mists and the summits.

Awesome. Belated congratulations!
I have been to the mountaintop, and I have seen the force
and the power that animates the universe. That may not
match up with your anthropomorphic or teleological idea of
what "god" is, but it's good enough for me.

Good stuff Mark. That a way to stay with it and be persistent.
