Oh yeah, I love all kinds of music. Put a drink in my hand and I'm happy at just about any concert. I just love music and dancing and having a good time. \:D/

More Britpop from the Stone Roses:

This one gets really good at about 3:40 into the track:

And my favorite song from the Smiths' Meat Is Murder LP:

What she said
How come someone hasn't noticed
That I'm dead
And decided to bury me
God knows, I'm ready

What she said
Was sad
But then, all the rejection she's had
To pretend to be happy
Could only be idiocy

What she said
Was not for the job or
Lover that she never had

What she read
All heady books
She'd sit and prophesize
It took a tattooed boy from Birkenhead
To really really open her eyes

What she said
I smoke
Cus I'm hoping for an early death
And I need
To cling to something

No no no no

B thom you're lack of regard about when I was born saddens me....its not my fault!

Heres a little something for your lack of compassion and the fact that you brought up a semi punk band:

This is surely one of the greatest guitar solos of all time:

See from 1:50 on if you can't be bothered with Zappa weirdness:

And for undoubtedly the best guitar solo ever go here:

(I'm not even a Jimi fan but this was Jimi in his element laying carnage to that audience on NYE '69) (PS I've probably already posted this) From about 6:20 on this will destroy your noggin!

Thanks for posting that Smiths video, Brian. Haven't heard that tune in many, many years. In ways it seems as meaningful now as it was back then.

Joy Division! Woohoo! That movie "Control" about Ian Curtis was awesome... they were kinda before my time but my older brother was a huge fan. Joy Division at their finest for me, can definitely hear the Jim Morrision influence:

Need to get the post count back up on this thread. It fell behind all the Lucky Franklin ones.

Simple but fantastic tune.
